2 - Person Scramble St. Brigid’s Day

The Competition for upcoming bank holiday Monday 5th February will be a 2 - Person (any combination) Scramble Stableford.

It will be an Open competition.

The format involves 2-person teams (men, women or mixed) where each player on the team hits a tee shot, and then the players decide which shot they like better. The two players then play from that spot. The team member whose ball was not chosen places it within one club length (not closer to the hole) of the marked spot. The ball must be placed in the same area of the course as the marked ball. (If a marked ball lies in the bunker/hazard placed ball also must be played from the bunker/hazard). The same rules apply for all consequential shots. Marking within 4 inches (not closer to the hole) on the putting green.

The following handicap calculation will be used for this 2-Person Scramble event: 35% of Lower Handicap + 15% of Higher Handicap.
Example: Player A Course Handicap 10 (35% = 3.5) + Player B Course Handicap 20 (15% = 3).
3.5 + 3 = 6.5 rounded up = 7

Playing handicaps will be calculated and added to the score cards electronically when registering for the competition in the pro shop.
After play please enter the scores in the computer and return the scorecard to the competition box.
Competition will be played off the white tee markers for the Men and red tee markers for the Women.
