Local Rules 

Out of Bounds (Rule 18)

1. Beyond all course boundaries. Fences and supports at 1st fairway and behind the 1st green, 3rd tee, 3rd green, 6th fairway, 13th fairway, behind the 13th green and 14th fairway form part of the course boundary.

2. Beyond the white stakes / lines to the left of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 12th, 16th and 18th fairways, to the left of and behind the 13th green, to the left of and behind the 15th green and to the right of and behind the 17th green.

3. On the right of way through the Glen on the 7th and 11th holes.

4. The clubhouse enclosure and carpark. The Gravel area in front of the Clubhouse is Out of Bounds as part of the clubhouse enclosure. If a ball is lost or out of bounds, the player must take stroke-and-distance relief by adding one penalty stroke and playing the original ball or another ball from where the previous stroke was made (see Rule 18.2)

5. The Out of Bounds line behind the 16th green has been extended from the last white stake to the left of the 16th green along the left side of the path leading to the 17th green as far as the access road on the left.

Internal Out of Bounds (Rule 18)

1. When playing the 4th hole beyond the White Stakes between 4th and 5th fairways.

2. When playing the 10th hole, beyond the White Stakes between the 10th and 18th holes.

3. When playing the 11th hole, beyond the white stakes at the machinery roadway to the left of the hole.

Immovable Obstructions (Rule 16.1)

1. All roads and pathways.

2. Protective Fence guarding right of way on the 7th Hole

3. Protective fences at the 3rd, 7th, 10th, 15th and 16th tee boxes.

4. Upright stone in semi - rough on right hand side of the 4th and 10th holes.

5. Fixed sprinkler heads, hydrants, manhole and drain covers, bins, seats, ball cleaners, bell supports, staked trees, fixed yardage discs and posts, granite tee markers and direction posts.

6. Winter tee boxes, including timber surrounds.

7. White stakes identifying Internal Out of Bounds when playing any hole to which the Internal Out of Bounds does not apply.

8. The Flower beds surrounding the 10th and the 17th tee boxes are No Play Zone (abnormal course condition) in general area, therefore ball must not be played as it lies and the player must take free relief under Rule 16.1f

Artificial Hole Covers (Rule 16.1d)

If a ball lies on the putting green and an artificial hole cover intervenes on the line of play, relief may be obtained without penalty, by marking, lifting and placing the ball at the nearest point of complete relief on the putting green not nearer the hole.

Penalty Areas (Rule 17)

On the 17th hole, as an additional option to Rule 17, adding one penalty stroke, a ball may be dropped in the appropriate Dropping Zone. On the 1st and 2nd holes, as an extra relief option to Rule 17, adding one penalty stroke, a ball may be dropped within two club lengths of the point where the ball last crossed the margin of the Penalty Area on the opposite edge of the Penalty Area.

Drainage Channels (Model Local Rule F20)

Drainage channels that are made of artificial materials on the 5th, 12th and 15th holes are treated as immovable obstructions in the General area.
A player may take free relief under Rule 16.1b.

Reference Point: The nearest point of complete relief.
Size of Relief area: One Club Length.

Penalty for Breach of Local Rule: Strokeplay 2 Strokes
Matchplay Loss of Hole
